About the Journal
The Osmania University Journal of IPR [OUJIPR] is the flagship journal of the DPIIT IPR-Chair, Osmania University, Hyderabad. It is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that has been launched in 2023, and publishes original contributions to contemporary legal scholarship on Intellectual Property Rights with special reference to India. The Patrons of the Journal are the Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University and Justice R. Subhash Reddy, Former Judge of Supreme Court of India. The Advisory Board comprises of senior eminent academicians and practitioners in the domain of IPR from India and also abroad. OUJIPR invites contributions from academicians, practitioners and researchers in the field of Intellectual Property Rights and allied interdisciplinary scholarship. OUJIPR is a biannual journal published twice a year.

Objectives and Scope
The Osmania University Journal of IPR [OUJIPR] is the flagship journal of the DPIIT IPR-Chair, Osmania University, Hyderabad. It is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that has been launched in 2023, and publishes original contributions to contemporary legal scholarship on Intellectual Property Rights with special reference to India.The objectives and scope of OUJIPR are as follows:
- To encourage established and emerging scholars to develop new knowledge and perspectives on significant issues in the domain of IPRs.
- To publish original, peer-reviewed scholarship in Intellectual Property and allied disciplines with an emphasis on issues of contemporary relevance, with special reference to India.
- To bridge gaps between the academia and industry by encouraging scholarship by legal professionals, IP practitioners and policymakers.
- To maintain rigorous standards of peer review and editorial process while ensuring originality, and timely publication.
- To achieve a wide readership among IP enthusiasts, legal scholars, professionals, policymakers and academics from allied disciplines, including Sciences, Engineering, Arts and Business Management, among others.
